AUDITIONS FOR SUESSICAL

THE AUDITIONS 

General auditions will be on Monday 1/8 and Tuesday 1/9  4:00pm-6:30pm

Sign up for a time slot on the theater call board.

All are welcome to audition for this production, regardless of experience.

You will be asked to sing a song and perform a page from a Dr. Suess book. You are welcome to simply show up to auditions, and we will provide you with audition materials. However, if you are interested in standing out, you may wish to prepare optional materials.

Optional Audition Preparation:
Those who are interested in being considered for larger parts and/or leading roles, you may want to prepare materials for the audition. The following are optional materials you may prepare to perform at auditions:

-16 bars from a Broadway Musical or Disney Movie (Please bring music for the accompanist or a Karaoke Track)

-One memorized page from a Dr. Suess Book. (Should take 1 minute or less to perform)

CALL BACK ANNOUNCEMENT

Callbacks for specific parts will be posted on the blog as well as on the Callboard. Not being called back does not necessarily indicate that you will not be cast.

CALL BACKS

Callbacks will take place on Wednesday 1/10/18 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.

Callbacks are a chance for the directors to hear performers sing specific parts and interact with each other. Not being called back does not necessarily mean you have not been cast. Some casting decisions are made before callbacks.

CASTING ANNOUNCMENT 

Final casting decisions will be posted on Friday 1/12/18 on the blog as well as the callboard.
